As of yesterday im no longer a corvette owner. It was a sad and exciting day. I sold my C5Z and got a 2011 CTS-V Coupe. I will still come on the forum from time to time. This has been a great forum with many great people. Im already missing my vette but this CTSV just feels better in everything. I will own another corvette soon i can already tell. Now time for a pic of the V.
Sorry to see you go. Your car was beautiful. (Loved the Forgestars!) I think you'll be very pleased with the CTS-V though. Awesome cars through and through. Good luck, and don't be a stranger.
I raced a friend of mines old CTS-V on the road not that long after I got my C5Z. He sold it to some kid and I managed to catch it on the streets.
I don't know what year it was, but I do know that he had a good bit of motor work to it, and 4.33s in the rear. You need em to haul that heavy a$$ car around.
Thing whooped me like he was racing a Civic. The pull was so bad that I thought he sprayed on me or something. Thing was sick.
Congrats on the new ride (I guess)!!!!! They do have Corvette drive train, you sell your vette just because the lights didn't work on your HVAC panel ???
Loved your Z, but the V is awesome. I had a 2011 CTS (non V) coupe and I loved everything about it, except it had no *****. You, sir, now have the best of both worlds. Congrats!
You easily had one of my favorite C5's on here. Did you trade it or sell it outright? What was the reasoning on going to the V? Not a fan of the wedge, but I love the 4 door version.

Hahaha no, but that didn't help it lol. I actually got it fixed, re-soldered the resistors and all was good.

I traded it in. They actually gave my $20k for it on trade in plus the tax savings. Was hard to pass up that deal. And i got a really good price on the V. All in all i was very pleased. To be honest i wanted a change, was hard to drive the vette everyday, not the best of ride and interior looked dated to me. The V is the total opposite. Makes tons of power, great ride and beautiful interior. I wasnt crazy on the 2 door either but after seeing one up close and driving it i fell for it. Really wanted a wagon but so hard to find and are crazy expensive here. $55k was the cheapest i could find in a wagon.

Auto with recaros, plan on LT headers, corsa catback, upper and lower pulleys, CAI injectors and tune. Maybe a cam and ported heads later on down the line.
