[Z06] Chrome Z06 Wheels

Chrome Z06 Wheels
My neighbor thinks I should put chrome wheels on my Z06. I like the looks of the chrome wheels, but I like the stock wheels also.
This is why I've decided to stay with the stock wheels.
1) I like the performance of the Z06. The stock wheels look more like racing wheels than chrome.
2) Many Corvette owners are upgrading to chrome Z06 wheels. This gives an "after market" look that anyone can purchase. The stock wheels say the car was intended to be this way.
3) The best part of the Z06 is driving it, not looking at it. I can't see the wheels while I'm spinning the tires.
4) I know it pisses my neighbor off if I don't get chrome wheels!
How do the rest of you feel about leaving your Z06 wheels stock?

sounds like you have made up your mind to stay with the factory wheels-go with what YOU like, not your neighbor.
I personally like the chrome or polished Z06 wheel-cleaner look, the grey always made my wheels look dirty, especially on my black vette-but with brake dust I can see why GM decided on that color!

I like the Chrome, It is what you like that really counts. If you really aren't sure and your neighbor thinks you should have Chrome, let him buy them for you......

To each his own.
Chromies for me - The stock wheels are the same color as the exhaust system...
Now I do like to polished stockers - almost as good as chromies!
Sorry for the big picture, but look at how the chromies make the EB pop!

I don't like the looks of stock wheels. The price was right on them though.
They were free. I bought the car and they came with it.
But they aren't very fancy.
When I first saw them on the 01' Z06 I really despised them.
I still do.
If I decide to replace them it'll be with the "chromies".
