Default For the Vert guys

I totally understand when the wife is with you
and her hair would get messed, or a late night chill is in the air.

I saw a guy today (84 and sunny) in a high end vert with the top down
And the windows up. He wasn't on his phone, really the only explanation
I could justify what I saw. The car was white with beigeish (word?) toupe
Interior. When would this be acceptable?

One other thing, it wasn't 80 mph on some interstate,
It was a block from my house in a 25 mph area.

I've left the windows up with the top down before if it was hot enough and I wanted some AC. Under normal circumstances they should always be down though. I agree it's an offense that has a punishment up to and including revoking the man card.

I have a two verts and would never consider driving with the windows up...never! Looks absolutely silly IMHO. That maybe their way of being noticed...lol.

On a cold, foggy day on US-1 in California most definitely an option. Leave the top down and use the heat and windows as required.

At least the top was down. I don't get those with a convertible who have their top up with the A/C on (presumably) on a beautiful summer day or night. I don't even drive mine with the top up, unless I have to.

As I've said before, The Corvette God intended windows down when top down because soon as you press button to lower top windows go down.

You would not think that way in Florida our top down season is the opposite of yours, just like car shows, virtually none in the summer.

Ok, Ok, I concur that much over 90 degrees it does get a bit hot around the ears. I was thinking about a New England summer eve more like 65-75. Stopping every now and then at an obscure tavern for a bite and a

Texas is similar in the summer. Hot and humid and nasty. Definitely not convertible weather during the daytime. I have my hardtop on mine currently so the AC works better. I have no desire to drop the top in July or August here
