Excellent! Good to know there will be forum members there. We are doing a caravan with other vette owners in and around Chicago. About three hours. We will make it in two hours. Looking forward to attending.

American Lemans Race? Would that be Elkart Lake Wisconsin? The caravan I am in is headed to the Corvette Funfest, September 15-18th 2016, Effingham, IL USA.

Interestingly, No Fly Zone Midwest will be taking place the same weekend about a 1.5 hours north of Effingham in Rantoul. It is a half mile top speed event on the retired AFB runway. The surface is great and the event draws some great cars (and quite a few Vette's). I will be running on Saturday, I would suggest that anyone interested in seeing what their car can do check it out. Spectators are also welcome. You will be so close so join in on the fun! Link is below.

I plan to be there on Friday. I will be with the GS Registry. Still a member with Hutch since I had my 96 GS. Went last year and have been several times. I think there used to be more vendors than there are now. Still fun to go and look at the cars.
