I can't figure out which island you are on - Maui? I'm on Oahu and I'm looking at a '01 Z06 this weekend hopefully, would be my first Corvette. I'd love to find out more about your car and what you paid for it as well as any particular things you looked out for while buying an island Corvette. The one I'm looking at was lowered and I'm wondering whether that is going to cause any problems with the annual safety inspection... Things like that.

Aloha! Funny, I've been looking at that one on craigslist for a while
I actually bought the car on the big island and had her shipped over to Oahu where I live. I paid 19,500 and shipping was about 400 bucks. A couple of things I wanted was a relativity stock car that had quality of life mods(LCM5, CAGS delete, fangs on the front rails, jack pucks, etc), and not so much performance mods. The PO really loved his car and took car of it like it was his child. The car I think you're looking at looks really low and might have some radiator support damage. I haven't seen it for myself, but one thing i would suggest would be to see what the owner is like and how he treats his car. Finding out why they are selling it is also important, as it can give you further clues as to how it was treated. Hope this helps! The red car on Maui looks nice! Go for that one
Thanks for chiming in! I'm waiting to hear back from the seller on a bunch of new questions I had for him and his availability on Sunday. No to red - Silver is the best color especially with the on and off rain here and strong sun. Hides water spots well and I don't exactly want a car that says "Look At Me!". I'd send you a PM if I could as I'd like your input on pricing - I worked out a possible price assuming I found zero issues with the car, but I seem to have lost my old account here and had to recreate a new one today, and it seems like I don't have the ability to PM you... Are you able to PM me? If so, please drop me a line and I'll see if I at least have a "reply" button...
