FWIW. I just picked up two hydraulic 1.5-ton aluminum "racing jacks" from Harbor Freight Tools. for $60 apiece. They were delivered to my door in two days for $6.99 total.
Frankly, I am amazed at their features and performance. 3 pumps will top them out. Easy to control descent. Very sturdy and well built. Nice features such as handle foam to protect car and handle secured via knurled screw, carry handle and solid rubber pad on lift area. Also low 3.5 in profile. They make it in larger lift capacity, but these worked great to get jack stands under car.
Just FYI

Bought one a couple years ago. Paid just a bit more for it. Great jack for the money. Use it all the time.
Just Google Harbor Freight Tools. I used a coupon. The # was 81272989. Think it is still good. They were 59.99 ea. with the coupon. Full price is 89.99. This jack is featured as a coupon item very often. In fact, I had 2 , but I used one for both. It was cheaper to have it shipped than to go to the store.
It is light, I think 29 lbs, maybe 24, but very rugged, feature packed and easy for an old guy like me to pick up and move around. Rated at 1.5 ton , which is all I need.

I bought two a few years back. They are very good. The coupon is good as of tonight 08/12/2016.
I got that one, its ok bc its cheap and light,
but I also got a huge HF steel jack not alumunium thats low approach,
was only like 95.00 on sale
I usually use the huge one, when I have to jack up the whole rear end at the pumpkin or the whole front at the cross member, I use the big one, goes very high,
and I can put the whole car on 4 ramps quick
also the large one can easily move my vette or jeep around the garage like a dolly,
the small one has no ***** for that
You may want to check with the manufacturer to confirm that the jack is designed to move the load around. I think you will find that the small print in most floor jack instructions cautions against moving the load around by pulling/pushing the jack by the handle.

Just did this 10min ago used 1 coupon for 2 and they have them at my store so I can pick up on way home. My Sears one is 5 yrs old and needs a rebuilding so now I can send it off a get fixed. Thanks op for posting this and thanks shaynanigans for the coupon.

I was saying for 30 bucks more I got a huge steel hf jack that's beefy
Don't use this small aluminum much
Going light weight with aluminum is pointless unless you're moving and traveling with the jack outside your garage

It's your vette lowered? Do you think they would with on one that has been?
I'm having trouble finding one that will fit under my car (has been lowered)

I don't think any jack will fit under the front end of a lowered C5. Mine is lowered and I have to drive up on a couple of 2 x 6's to get the jack under the front cross member.
I have had mine for almost 6 years and it got a lot of use the first 4 as I used it as my jack at the track and to prep car for track. Still use it when I go to track as it is light and does the job. 2 years ago, I bought the HF 3 ton low profile to use when in my garage and it works much better for garage use and it was only $90 and may still be close to that with coupons. I would recommend the 3 ton if you use it a lot in your own garage.
BTW - my car is lowered and both fit comfortably even with jacking pucks.

Sweet! Do you jack the sides or front and back? How tall are your pucks? I'd love to find a setup that works

My '04 is lowered all the way on the stock bolts. I use a craftsman low-profile jack (very similar to the HF) and it clears the sides by about 1/8". Tight squeeze, but works like a charm.
