wheel offset question 65 Vs. 79

wheel offset question 65 Vs. 79
working on 2003 C5 stock thin spokes. I'm looking to upgrade to either C6 ZR1 replicas (UPC 9453387) or C7 Z06 replicas (9498448) from OE wheels in +1 sizing so 18 X 8.5 front and 19 x 10 in rear. Rear offset is what bothers me as OEM offset is 65 and both sets of replicas are 79 offset. What will this mean to fit? wheels further under fender or away more?

The lower the ET number, the closer it will get to the fender.
An offset of 79 seems very odd to me.
I use this online compare tool, to see the difference between current wheel/tire setup and new.
