Door Window Rattle Stops
Greetings Forum Brothers. Would someone tell me if the C5 had pieces in the top of the door assembly that capture the window when it is down to prevent rattling when you close the door? It appears there were three at one time or at least there are three indented areas that could have been where they were located. Is this something I must buy from the dealer? A friend told me they have not been available for many years. I would appreciate any direction as I hate the rattle on my 1998 vert.

The window is captured by the modulator and clamped in (what I recall) three places. There are no tracks per-se. Google C5 Corvette window modulator and you will find Youtube videos and many pictures of the inside of the door. If you window is rattling it is likely time to replace the window modulator which is a fairly simple job.
