Amsoil trans fluid spec

While at Carlisle I stopped by the Amsoil booth and asked the rep - "Whats the appropriate fluid for an '00 C5 with these paper blocker rings that people seem so worried about?" He chuckled - took my card - and said he'd get back to me.

Amazingly he called me just a few minutes ago - and said that the "Signature Series Multi Vehicle" fluid is the one to use - he said "its better than the Torque-drive"....

Hmmm, Very Curious...I had used Dexron III on my 99 but was wondering if I should switch to Torque drive later.

I've been using amsoil torque drive atf in the trans and severe gear 75/90 in the diff since owning my car and never had an issue with those parts so I will continue to do so... I'm curious why he recommended the signature series over torque drive, did he tell you why?
