So ac is blowing but not cool. System is charged with refrigerant, when I hit the button to turn the compressor on, it dosent light up, is there a fuse I should check for? Is there a sensor I can check? How can I tell if the compressor is bad. Thanks
Crazy idea. But my ac was workinh fine. I had a coolant leak. Pressure was not as its suppose to be. I lost my ac. Once i replaced the reservoir the ac started working again. Like i said. It sounds crazy but i have no idea if the pressure or leak affects the ac. Someone correct me please.
I know there is freon in the system, but I don't hear the compressor, is there a way to directly jump the compressor so I can make sure it's not bad, can I just apply 12v to input or is there a special way to jump it

1) It would be readable by a much larger audience if it was a PDF file instead of a MS Word .docX file.
2) Would be much more understandable if it included a wiring diagram for the HVAC system so the referenced "Points" and "Circuit numbers" could be followed.
JMHO
I used it for the same reason on my vette and thought it was very easy to follow, yet as a experienced mech sometimes I take a lot for granted !!!!! Thanks Chuck !!!
