Default Tire Longevity

Wanting to get some feedback on what tires you run and how many miles they normally last. My 02 z-06 is my daily driver that gets me to and from work 6 days a week at 75 miles a day round trip. I'm currently running some Bridgestone potenza re760 sport with a tread wear rating of 360. Any one know of any tires with a higher tread wear that aren't run flats??

The OEM Goodyear runflats lasted about 15-16K miles. I'm now running a set of Hankook Ventus V12 EVOs on the car but haven't put but maybe 4K miles on them since the install. However, they have a good treadwear rating and I've been very pleased with them.

Merely a guess here, but I think options for higher wear rated tires in what's considered performance sizes will be few if any at all.

25k on my current continentals.

Been great tires, if I hadn't gotten a steal on my next set of potenza's I would be going back with them.

A big middle finger to the tire manufacturers who keep pushing us to buy new tires every 3 years for no reason

I went with the Contennitals, a 560 AA A rating and reviews on Tirerack and else where. Coming off of old run flats where at 70 MPH I couldn't hear my radio and the fact that they rode like a brick prompted my decision. They hang great wet and dry where the performance tires don't like wet, they ride a lot better, the only drawback is now at 70, I can still hear my wife (kidding). I would have liked a little less tire slap like over bridge expansion joints, but its not major. Had them all summer, couldn't be happier.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evos on my C5 as well. They have been such a great tire I would definitely get them again. I put about 15K miles on them so far and they seem to wear pretty good. Great traction on dry roads and handle well in rain.

Like caddman11, I'm going with the Conti's, but still have the V12s (Hankook) under consideration.

Running Continental DWS and currently have 56k mostly highway miles. Have a new set of DWS 06 tires waiting to be installed.

I got a little over 40k out of my OEM Goodyear runflats. Have about 20k on the Michelin runflats that replaced the Goodyears.
