Default Key Fob 2 Missing One Function

Key fob 2 has all functions with one exception: driver seat does not go to memory set function when key inserted into ignition. Steering column operates, as do the bolsters, lumbar, etc.. When key removed seat goes back after manually set forward. Also with memory 2 light on after seat is manually forwarded and memory 2 pushed, seat goes all the way back to easy entry position. Is preferred seat position with key fob 2 not supposed to work?

Direct answer, yes. If you unlock the door by pressing the fob that was programmed second in the training session (not by the number on the back of the fob), then when you put the key in the ignition the memory settings should move to correspond with the #2 memory button on the door.

I'm a dummy. It's not the fob. 8VETTT7 clued me in. The seat function wasn't preset. My wife has fob#2. I didn't give her the correct instructions for setting the memory! Thank all for the help.

That's what I needed to do. I was able to turn it off.
Thanks again.
