Default Side Windows and headlight covers

I have had my C5 vert for 3 months and besides agreeing with the unanimous conclusions that the seat quality sucks (I have the sport seats) the only two things that annoy me about this car is that you can't roll up the windows after putting up the top with the key. It is a hassle leaning in to put the key back in, turning it to acc and then lean far enough away from the driver window so it doesn't strike you coming up. Is there an after market fix for this?

The headlight cover motor continues to run (pretty loud grinding sound) for several seconds after the covers are closed when I switch off the lights. Is there an adjustment for the kill switch on these or ??

Thanks

The window valet. It allows you to use the key fob to roll the windows up or down.http://www.southerncarparts.com/corv...alet-p-81.html

Most likely your headlight gears are bad on that motor.

Check some of these files out. I also have one more file that is 16+MB in size so it is too large to make as an attachment here on the forum. If you'd like a copy of that one, just PM me your e-mail address.

I have a vert and love the up down function by the Valet. It works from the key fab. The Valet has more functions you can program if you desire.

Appreciate the responses, I'll get the key valet immediately and do the brass gear while they still open on their own, suspected it might be worn gears from the C5 introductory compiled posts, hoping it was an "easier" button.

Thanks

Leave the engine running while putting top up. You have to get back in to latch top anyway.
