Rpo codes on a '98
I apologize in advance on this question 'cause I DO believe its got to be mentioned in the FAQ on C5's. I just didn't see it. I've read through a lot of the "what to look for" when buying (don't you just love this forum!).
Where is the RPO code sheet on the '98s?
I've been asked to help a family friend's dad to critique a '98 automatic convertible (his dad has never owned a Vette). We looked at it tonight. Seems nice and clean.
As a side bar on this particular car, I did pick up a shuttering coming from the rear of the car, low speed, when you first start off making a left or right turn. No noises, just a stutter/shudder. My gut tells me at a minimum its the diff. No leaks underneath and it goes like bat out of hell in a straight line.
My friends dad went home to think about it.
But, back on my question. Where is the RPO code listing located on '98s?

Check either under the center console lid or under one of the rear compartment covers - can't remember which one the RPO sticker is placed. On the newer C5s the RPO sticker is in the glove box.
