Or any other way of changing the color of your wheels and still be able to easily remove it without damaging the wheels? I want to change the color of my wheels c5 to black but still be able to change back. Don't have funds to buy new wheels after buying the car!
I've only ever used PD on my rear fascia. It has survived 3+ years and the only time I've ever had to redo it was when I made the mistake of taking the car through a high pressure car wash . I love the look and the ability to peel it off and restart!
I used Plasti-Dip on my son's Camry wheels 3 years ago. They have held up very well.
I did have to redo one of them after the tire shop messed it up during the rotation.
Found it easy to do without removing the tires. I cut index cars in 1/2 and put them between the tire & wheel. Made it easy to cover all of the edges.
Highly recommend using the Glossifier if you are going for a shiny look.
The great thing is, you can change colors (which we did after 2 weeks) very easily.
Good Luck

Thanks,

I sprayed mine black, looks good but make sure to clean, wash, and dry the surface so the plastidip can stick to it, or else it will just peel off while shrinking
I plastidipped my wheels flat black 2 years ago and they have held up pretty well. I paid about 70$ for a whole kit and still have a lot extra that i use for touch ups. There is a new product called Autoflex that has to be professionally done but i think is supposed to be a lot more durable while being removable. Hope this helps.
