Default Coolant Leak

Hey guys i just bought a C5 oh say about two months ago and through this site ive been able to do alot of the things that the mechanic said were wrong during the inspection. They did not however tell me of a coolant leak. I found coolant as i was during my own oil change. I have since located the leak. However i am not the most car savvy person out there. The leak is quite small but its position causes it to run down and make a mess of my garage (which i just bought as well, wife got the house i got the vette) its not exactly in the radiator which is good i guess i dont know im a refrigeration mechanic im wondering what the part is it seems to be maybe a radiator head i dont know. My question is that based on the picture im curious as to whether or not i could use some liquid cement such as jbweld etc to put over the seam to contain it or if that doesnt work what is the part i need as it seems to be a large job involved to change out the simple head piece.

Thanks in advance guys

Taylor

Time for a new radiator. Be sure to clean out you A/C condenser while the radiator is out.

I'd go for a new radiator as well. Looks like that one is in rough shape.

Just had the same problem. Bought a new one on Amazon for $170 brand AC Delco OEM. Quickly buy it before the sale ends.
