I saw a wrapped Bentley a few days ago in a dark brown/grey chrome (it looks like paint, it was glossy, but not those riced out silver or goold chrome). It was very unique due to the color and chrome blend. I've never seen anything quite like it.
Made me think about doing mine, I have an all black C5, which is great, but frankly the other benefit of wraps is protecting your paint.
A friend of mine has been dipping his GT-R and the results are damn impressive. He spent just under $200 on his last job and that included chameleon color changing top coat. It is WAY easier than wrapping and it can be done in less than 4 hours (peeled off in 30 minutes).
He wanted a blue one, but found a killer deal on a grey one. So he bought it and dipped it.
The chameleon effect is not my style, but it is bad *** looking for sure.

Forum member MarkyMarkGTM wrapped his C5. Haven't seen him on here in a while, but you could try contacting him either through PM or e-mail.
I do have a Word file that shows what he did to the car. It is too large to make as an attachment here on the forum, so if you would like a copy, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.
I was hoping to see some people post C5s that are wrapped
From what I understand unless you are doing the work yourself it is wicked expensive (labor intensive). A guy at work was looking to have his 370Z wrapped and was quoted $2k. You could get an ok paint job for $2k.
Once I have the nose of mine fixed, I might dip it with some pearl after seeing Danny's car in person. He just got back from a 2k mile road trip and the finish still looks amazing.

I own a print, graphics, and embroidery company here in Vegas and a lot of people don't realize the amount of labor that goes into a wrap. We do wraps here and have our vehicles wrapped for business advertisement purposes. When it come to having graphics incorporated in the wrap with lettering, and such, the pricing is very reasonable considering what it would cost to have someone paint that. As well as what it costs for the commercial wrap vs. a billboard.
When it comes to a color change, then it certainly is more economical to have it sprayed, either paint or plasti-dip.
We just picked up a project 98, and our plans are to do a full wrap on it. It will have graphics and company information on it as well.

Take a look at pearlsandpigments.com,he's the dip master and has great colors. But he also has a new style that looks better and last longer than dip, good luck. L8R ZFLASH
