Default Serial Number 1 C5 from 1997

Here is a picture of serial number one 1997 C5. The car is owned by GM and was on display at FunFest 2016 in Effingham. The car looked brand new inside and out.

I saw that same car at the GM Heritage center when I went. Glad to see it actually sees the light of day and doesn't just sit inside.

talking. Had both and now always a vert for me. The lines, top off, are killer! The C5 was built to be a vert. No cowl shake at all!

Vert People,
I'm curious, what percentage of the time do you put the top down?

It's not my DD, also my first year with it but had a Z28 vert for 8 yrs.

Having said that, if it's nice enough to take the car out, it's nice enough to have the top down. This will change though if I continue to drive it anywhere near October. The entire month should be okay to drive it but late morning-early afternoon would be the only time the top is down.

I won't drop the top, have the windows up and crank the heat, to me that looks foolish.

Short version..... 95% of the time the top is down
