Well, if the car is in good mechanical shape, the interior is nice, and the car can be bought for a good price, the paint can be fixed to something more pleasing.

Ugly, but not the ugliest ever. I think that goes to Mark Hamill's "Corvette Summer" specimen. I've never seen anything nominated that rivals that fugly Corvette from Hamill's movie:
