Default Differences

I'm in the market for a C5. I have read that there were several improvements made on the 04 over the 03 and earlier models. What are these improvements and how significant are they to the cars ride and handling? I have shopped exclusively for 04s on some of my searches. Should I consider older models as well? There are a lot of cars out there for sale, but none of them seem to be close to me. I have been looking off and on for about a year. Also, how significantly will prices change as cooler weather starts to set in. Thanks is advance for any advice you may have.

Where are you located? I have been thinking about selling my '04 coupe. Don't drive it much since the divorce. It's a black on black Z51 auto with both tops and all options. PM me for more details and pics if interested.

Obviously the newtst lowest mileage car you can get the better but all c5'sare decent cars if maintained at all. If you are like me and plan on going to coulovers one day it really does not matter what suspension package your car had from the factory because you are going to be changing it all any way. But to start we should ask what is your goal for the car and what do you expect from it. For me I was not that particular with my search I wanted a zo6 but when I moved my pay took a huge hit and I ended up settling for a frc. I personally do not like coupes and convertibles so the frc was my choice. I did not care about color as long as it was not a banana and would not drive a auto. Mileage and mechanical condition did not matter to me as much as others as I have the ability to fix mechanical as long as the price reflected the fact that the car needed work.
Sorry I do not know all the specifics on what changes happend at what times through the years but one of the experts will chime in I am shure
