My 6-speed '02 has a Vortec supercharger with a SuperChips tune that is putting out 7 lb boost and the drivetrain is stock. Dyno numbers came out to 450HP and 403 torque at the rear wheels. I have owned the car for 11 years now and never had a problem. It can get up to 31 MPG at 65 in 6th gear with cruise control; and that's figured with math and not the DIC readout.

no hard launches with sticky tires at the drag strip and keep it from shaking/wheelhopping and you should be fine for awhile... I put a little over 700 to the ground through my stock drivetrain and it held up until I swapped it out for c6z parts
