Default Dash lights and overheating

I tried to change my dash cluster lights and replaced all the bulbs in the cluster with amber bulbs. The face on the gauge cluster is still White and it says that it's not the bulbs to change your light it's the black lights one on each side. Is there a way to change his light to make my dash amerigeddon. Or does anybody know where I can get the correct bulb to change the color. Also car's been overheating very hot sometimes. It has new radiator new cooling fan and new thermostat housing hundred 87 degree thermostat. The fans are working and I just cannot figure out what else it could possibly be. It's especially bad when the air conditioner is on and not near as bad if we just turn everything off. Any ideas or thoughts would be helpful I appreciate anything anybody could come up with.

If you just replaced the radiator there may be air in the system. How hot does it get?

Default Overheating

It got up to 225 yesterday. It went as high as 260 or about 10 days ago. I drive it very little until I figure out what the problem is.

225 is normal. The fans don't come on until 226. Once they do you should see the temp drop. 260 is quite high though.

Yes. 260 shows that there is a problem.

Re-read post #2. Air in the system.....do a bleed or re-bleed.
P.S. Things to check.
Your radiator cap.
Your tstat...stuck?
Your hoses.
Your water pump.
Air in system....bleed.
Flush and fill 50/50% distilled and DexCool.
The above is for starters...get back to us.

Another thing to check is the A/C condenser. It could be totally clogged if it wasn't cleaned out when the new radiator was installed. Check it.
