Do you remember which sealer/caulk you used? I'm having a hard time finding the Kent's Automotive Sealant listed at the bottom of that document on leaks.

did you check out the link? did you remove the trim piece that is directly under the rear glass, it goes from one side of the car to the other. you need to remove that piece unless you did already. if your leak is the same as condition #7 you will be able to see the water coming in. I just used black silicone sealer and smeared a tight bead into the seam under the rear glass frame.

Yep, I removed the trim and ran a bead of black RTV silicone between the trunk and body. I'll leave the trim off for now and see how it does in the next rain. However, even after removing the plastic trim, hosing the car down, and observing water in the trunk, I'm still not a 100% certain where the water is entering. We'll see.

I'll wait for it to rain again to see if the RTV silicone took care of the leak. I applied it in the area scribbled in red. Is that where you applied it or did you put in the yellow area?

craig, I put the silicone in the area that you highlighted in red. I had to go out and double check my car to be sure. That should take care of the leak . the other thing with these cars to do is if you are able to park with the nose of the car on an incline (uphill). Steve

Hey man just wanted to thank you. We had a heavy rain today and I haven't seen any leaks yet so it appears that my issue has been resolved. Appreciate it!!
