i've had license plates and trunks rattle. you either have to stop the vibration (tighten stuff) or cushion it (when tightening doesn't make sense). in this case, check out the rubber stoppers, adjust if possible. or you could add some felt sticky pads (like for the bottom of chairs) between the rattling parts.
I know everyone is being funny about turn down the base (and it is funny, and a legit answer to the question), but in reality, it doesn't take a lot of volume at some frequencies to make stuff rattle.
