Ill be posting pics as the build moves forward but for right now, I ordered all the parts for the swap including the 376/480 LS3 Crate engine.
Also went with a Dewitts aluminum radiator with oil cooler and oil cooler lines kit.
On the back end, Ill may have my LS6 to sell (minus the parts needed for the LS3 swap)
The LS6 needs the bottom end gone through to replace the main bearings but still runs strong and was dynoed at 351 RWHP in 2014. At this time I'm not sure if I will sell (if at all) the LS6 as is or after repair.
As time moves on, Ill post pics - Car goes into the shop on Tuesday (10/11/2016) to start the swap.

My 376/480 Motor arrived yesterday and the LS6 motor is being broken down. All parts are here so its just a matter of getting her done and on the Dyno after break in.
Ill post more Pics this weekend. Not much else going to happen this week.
Ill be detailing the entire engine bay before the new motor is installed.
It has an issue with low oil pressure when warm. The census is the main bearings are going out.
It is a Thompson Motorsports LS1/LS6 replacement short block with forged internals rated to 700 hp. Tuned at 351 RWP
I may just fix it then sit on for a future project of if someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse ....
The motor should be out Sunday.
How old is the Thompson Motor? Give us a call when you have a sec, We can likely help you even if it is for another project in the future.
Thank you,

Thanks Kyle - much appreciated and I definitely will be in touch!
I had real good luck with an OEM LS7 clutch in my old car (6.0 LS swapped BMW). I got it overnight from Summit Racing for a good price (pressure plate, clutch disk, and flywheel). I live in Buffalo and got it overnight at regular shipping price from Cleveland.
I see you're in Gilbert AZ - I think Summit has a location in Reno, NV. Might be worth a shot.
