Default Memory Buttons Issue, Help Please

I am having trouble programming my memory buttons on the drivers door, Im guessing that you put everything in the positions you want, Seats, Mirrors, and the telescoping steering wheel and then push and hold the memory selector button down until it goes out, then Its supposed to be set, but it doesn't stay set, still goes back to a crazy setting that I have to adjust every time I drive the car, Can anyone please explain how to set this correctly? I have the two setting memory buttons numbered 1 and 2 left and right. Thank you for any info on this. CorvetteBob

Do you still have your owners manual? It should have the instructions and they are pretty easy to follow.

Also remember to shut the door before inserting your key.

Also make sure that the car is parked position and not moving.

I'm guessing you may be swapping out the fobs? Does the "crazy" settings stay consistent each time. Use fob 1 to start with. Start the car and turn off. Then go ahead and set the memory for driver 1, save it and walk away, locking the car. with the fob. Now come back and get in and you should be set. Remember the driver's seat always retracts to allow for easier access/egress and then goes to the pre-set location

Did not know that, but that's what I have been doing.

Thanks!
