Default Anyone know what this is?

Got my car back from shop doing the interior install (long story and work is really incomplete) and going through trying to fix errors and broken parts. The photo attached is connected to a wire coming from under the center console. I have no idea what it is to or what its function is. Any help appreciated. The radio was replaced with a Kenwood Double Din unit and I don't know if it is part of that or not. The protrusion on the end is not a button but looks to be some sort of twist or cam lock.

That is the USB input for the head unit.

So does the end pull off so you can plug in the USB device?

Pull it off, and does your car aftermarket radio, it might be USB to update your unit.
My Kenwood has USB to connect to computer to update GPS and radio firmware.

Will do. Wasn't thinking USB, so it may simply be pulling off the cover if that is what it is.
