Don't have any pics handy, but from the ones I have seen, gunmetal colored wheels on a pewter car looks great.

Melting Slicks
These are TSW'S version of gunmetal, I just ordered some new Forgestar CF5's in Textured gunmetal, while shopping for new wheels I found that there are a lot of shades of gunmetal, depending on manufacturer.

For me it's too much of the same. It's almost like having red wheels on a red car, or blue wheels on a blue car. More contrast is better. I think black wheels on pewter looks better.
