What modifications have you made to your black corvettes? I bought mine about two weeks ago and I'm looking for ideas. Let's see 'em
Mine is almost completely stock aside from the head unit, headlight gears, and a rear black out kit. I have tail light flush mounts, but I need to trim them in order for them to coexist with the blackouts.
Replacing the headlights and upgrading to LED bulbs all around are the only things left on my to-do list as far as cosmetics are concerned. And I need to replace the Bose system.

I'm also going to better quality headlight bulbs and fogs. Something less yellow but still correct looking. No HID's planned here. I'm also considering upgrading the Bose door speakers.
Corsa Pace with X Pipe = Quiet yet beautiful non drone exhaust note at normal driving speeds, but step on the gas and she sounds like a Corvette C5 was born to sound. And aesthetically, the 3 1/2" quad exhaust tips look like they should, as opposed to the too-small stock tips.
And of course brother, you gotta replace the old man, living in another decade chrome rims with some polished black Corvette C6 reproduction rims. I went with C6 Z06 spyder rims that I got from West Coast Corvettes, but there are several great looking options And, no reason to go with larger rims because there is no way to tell visually the difference of one inch diameter difference. By staying with the stock size, your existing tires will fit.

Anything going on under the hood?
It's still stock under the hood (aside from a new battery).

Yes. I too upgraded the lifts and it made a huge difference for very little money.
Also, upgrades to Z06 shocks, slotted rotors up front, and up next will be to get rid of the run flats and probably go with Hankook Ventus to make the ride smoother quieter and my sure footed.
Vararam Cold Air Intake
Corsa SST X Pipe
Corsa SST Sport Exhaust
SST Exhaust C5 Emblem
Battery Cover from MidAmerica
iPod Bluetooth Wire Harness
Michelin Run Flats
And the best upgrade.... ZAINO
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new ride!
I hate all you Black guys !!!!!!!!!! (I mean black Vettes, cause I want one) They are a handful to keep clean, but now using Chadwick's I think that job to be much easier !!! IMO nothing looks better than Black !!!
All the time you would be putting into mods are better spent trying to keep the black beauty clean. Black is not a color...its a full time job!!! (nothing looks better IMHO) Wishing you many happy miles/smiles with your new baby. Greetings, Rob
