Headlight question

My headlights open and close but when they close the right on keeps grinding and grinding. Do I just need the gear set? Thanks

This is the classic symptom of the plastic gear missing teeth. Yes you need a new gear, and you might consider buying two since the other headlight will be going bad soon.
