Great story! I didn't know all the facts surrounding the lone 1983 C-4. I still love that generation after all these years. It's one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing the video.

When I went to the NCM a few years back for the first time I saw the '83 on display. It's very interesting to see it and make subtle comparisons and differences to the eventual '84 model production. It is great it is in existence but unfortunate that the other examples were destroyed.

I took some pictures of it when I visited Bowling Green. Also saw the 3rd production C6ZR1 as it was coming off the production line at the factory.

Very cool piece and an interesting story the way things came about to save one example of the 1983.

I'm glad the museum cars are kept in running condition and don't sit too long at a time.

I'm glad those wheels never made production... Gawd they are fugly.
