While browsing through my latest edition of the Corvette Black Book, (a must-have for any Corvette enthusiast), I came across a term I was unfamiliar with.
ASR: Acceleration Slip Regulation -
Engine spark retard, throttle close down, and brake intervention limit spin during acceleration.
It’s what we all know as Traction Control (a term I am familiar with). It was standard for Corvettes starting with 1992 models. Class over.
