Must be ghosts😬
I was doing a little detailing the other night and when I was wiping the door the lock engaged. Checked and the doors were locked. About 2 minutes later they unlocked on their own. It did this for a while and then it stopped. Went out again tonight, walked by the car and it did it again. Shut off the alarm and door lock stuff on the disc and about 2 minutes later it did it again. I unhooked the battery and here I am. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much and hope I can get rid of this ghost. 😎

Yep. The passive FOB was cool to a degree, but a PITA also if your conditions aren't always suitable to the action taken by it.
Great if you always walk to and from the car.
Not so much if you keep the FOB in range after exiting the car.

I'll start with yes I did read the owners manual. That's why I posted. It didn't change either way. Most of the people on here have some of the greatest info possible that is why I love the site.

I remember my '99 would lock/unlock the car all the time. Never really cared for that so I did flip the switch to the off position. Luckily that took care of it.
