OK....
I've Searched and get tons of Air Intake but not much info on the A.I.R. system
Maybe my search terms are off
Where do I look / What term do I use
Not really practical I know. More for looks than anything. I'm redoing the passenger side Check Valve. Still going to run the hose behind the Intake but I'm going to place the Check Valve like the Drivers Side is. Where I can get to it when I need to change it again. I really don't like the front route mod so thought I'd do something kinda' different. Haven't seen one done that way.

I got rid of mine when I installed headers, sure frees up the engine compartment.
If I was to have it tuned out would it still pass inspection?
It's purpose is to inject air into the exhaust to heat up the cats faster. I don't know how long that is but I would think not long, especially in the summer ? maybe someone will pipe in that knows more than me. I did my research on it because mine was sending a code.

technically it could fail a visual inspection but the thing is the inspector has to know that it's missing and when removed properly you can't tell it was ever there... most inspectors probably wouldn't even look anyway, they just plug up to the obd2 port and if the computer says it passes then it passes... the only part that can be a pain is the bolt behind the driver side head that holds the pipe, other than that it's pretty simple to remove
