Remove Paint from an Anodized surface?

Default Remove Paint from an Anodized surface?
Anyone know if this is possible without damaging the anodized surface underneath?

Thinner or paint stripper shouldn't hurt anodizing, only thing that hurts anodizing is very heavy acid degreaser like purple power or such, drano takes off anodizing to so stay away from that lol

I've used aircraft stripper over anodized Fiske wheels thinking I could 'remove' what they refer to as "micropolish". Yeah, it removed the clear and nothing else.

Good suggestions. If I get stuck I might try something else, but I actually just found that brake cleaner, a rag, and some good scrubbing works great!

I guess if we knew what kind of paint you were stripping it would help to lol if it's just spray paint brake cleaner will knock that crap right off, base/clear coat it probably won't do much
