The MSD is by far uglier than the Fast lol.

PM Tony Mamo about it. FAST is still King when it comes to the cathedral port.

For most applications with stock cubes I would agree with that but for strokers or aggressive 346 builds with good valve control and the ability to spin 7400 ish reliably, the ported MSD is a better choice

This is a great read and it sums up everything pretty well....if your interested in this topic (FAST vs MSD) it's a good way to spend 10 mins or so

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...orted-msd.html

Btw....regarding the MSD being ugly (in stock trim I couldn't agree more!).....here is a Mamo ported MSD with my "Stealth" upgrade.....butt ugly logos removed....texture coated and topcoated......Looks completely OEM and is a much nice looking piece this way. I sell alot of ported MSD's with this upgrade......looks killer under the hood!

Cheers,
Tony

Zero issues.....these intakes were pressure tested at the factory to over 150 PSI in a special container meant to deal with an explosion if it failed.

They terminated the test (having never actually seen the point of failure). Their design requirements was only to achieve 100 PSI satisfactorily (which they cleared by a huge margin) so clearly you wont have any issues with boost!

Good stuff!

Well Mr Mamo, since I'm having to pull the 416 with low oil pressure and sparklies in the oil (dang it) what have you found for the gm ls3 CNC'd heads that is worth the coin over a ported LS3 intake? Gains? Cost?

My engine builder says he's only seen 3-5 more hp on the fast and sometimes nothing vs the $1500 cost. Anything else out there worth some hp gains vs cost while I have this thing apart?
