This first one he calls anthracite. I think I'm gonna test it out on my c5 next

Middle car is matte black with glossifer.

Last car was just too beautiful not to put up

The look of this car is terrific. Another alternative would be to get samples of CF wrap. Make sure you get the kind that's suitable for exterior automobile use. There are many colors other than the typical black and dark gray that could do amazing things and make your car even more different. One of the most beautiful Corvettes I've seen was a ZR-1 at the factory with the white body and the CF roof that showed different colors depending on the light.
I think part of my reasoning about the hood is that the lights are an obstructive view of the hood contours.
Whatever you do, I think you're onto something. I was thinking of doing my targa roof with CF. (pewter body)

I hate black-painted roofs on FRC/Z06s because the lines of the roof seem to get lost visually. Your eyes go right to the body of the car. It just makes it look like a convertible with the top up, really. Yuck.

Doing similar onto the front bumper mimicking the curves of the bumper as a guide would let it flow nicely without looking like a "stick on"
In my humble opinion it would give a nicer flow, not so blocky or chopped up looking. On the flat or satin, it can look great under the right circumstances/application. In the end its whatever appeals to you. Individuality is always what hot rodding has been about. Best wishes!

That looks awesome. Not a an of the CF wrap, but real CF is another story. CF wrap is like the fake stick on vent's.
