Never seen such large water puddles under the car, after using the A/c on my newly acquired 2001 C5. Is this normal? Just want to be sure something else ain't wrong. Thks

As long as it is just plain water, you should be OK. My car at times does leave a large puddle of water under it, especially if it is really humid outside. Just make sure it is also not the windshield washer tank with a leak.

The more humidity the bigger the puddle. If it isn't pure water you've got a problem.
The water is condensation created from the A/C operation. Pretty common when there is a lot of heat with humidity or even rain. Might try running the A/C in defrost/defog mode with full heat. That will work to aid in evaporation of moisture that collects in the bottom of the system.

The bigger the puddle the better your AC is working. And, you know the drain is working if the water is under the car and not in the passengers footwell.
