2020 Corvette of the Year Finalist (performance mods)
C5 of Year Winner (performance mods) 2019
I don't like them either, had a set and they were showing wear within a year and I got rid of them before it got bad... I think the people with autos don't have as many issues since they aren't using their left foot for the clutch... the stock mats work the best in my opinion due to the heel pad
My Lloyd's mats look brand new after two years and 30,000 miles. Your experience is unacceptable. Counterfeit might be an answer, but it seems like an awfully small market for a counterfeiter to go after.
I have had several sets of the Lloyds mats on several cars. Never had a problem at all with them, but I did have a friend with a 15 Z28 and his mats did the same thing as your. Lloyds replaced them for him. But he also bought new.
The mat in the picture looks pretty cheesy. Not like the Lloyds mats I've had over the years. I think they are cheap fleabay fakes. I'll make you a deal on a Rolex I've got laying around, if you are interested.
I've had several sets of Lloyd's mats in different cars over the years, including my C5. Never has the quality been a problem. I, too, wonder if you didn't get a knockoff set.
