Well since it is a C5 forum part i add these 2 Swedish guys in a 6M mostly original C5 doing a Touristlap, the guy on in passenger seat is instructing the driver.
It is a very dangerous track to run and demanding on the car, at least 3 people have died this year in accidents.
Ran it first in 1965 - shows how old I am. Car was an original 1960's Mini, somewhat warmed over - I was a newly minted vehicle development engineer with the old Austin company at the time. No Armco then - you went off, you were in the trees. And it was pouring with rain. But it was cheap to take a lap. And I blew off this guy in a big Merc - he slowed down for the first corner and I did not, those original Minis had fabulous handling for the day. Did not see him again until we were parked at the end of the lap.
There are numerous videos on line of ZR1's, etc., taking hot laps. The definitive road racing track - all bumps, twists and turns and no run off areas. Not for wimps, that's for sure.
