A few months back I wrote I had heard a grinding noise going up a step incline. I heard it only one time and not since then. I drove it everywhere and even put the petal to the metal on more than one occasion but not up the same hill. No noise so before I put her to sleep, I had to go up the hill again.
Well the noise came back when I reached 30 mph going up the hill, since I was being caution I immediately back off and it stopped. No noise at 29 or less.
The esteemed gang at CF, said check differential or transmission fluid levels. Now that I have more data for the group and before I take it to the dealer, any additional thoughts?
Wheel bearings, possibly some engine driven components eg. air pump, waterpump, idler pulley etc. are some things I would check. In re-reading could it be some suspension components eg sway bar links etc. Wow this could be hard to find. Good luck.

It's just weird that it's only on the steep incline hill. And no where else. No one has stated the obvious yet but I will.
Don't go up the steep incline hill, but we know that's not the right answer. Depends on what the dealer says and if they'll know exactly what is wrong. I don't want to be guessing with hundred dollar repairs.
