While driving yesterday, 5)3 passenger side head light flew open, after inspection, it appears the control arm that attaches to the entire assembly came off. From looking at the driver side, it seems like a cotter pin that holds in place, although I can't tell if it's a true cotter pin or not.
in the pic, it's the silver pin at the top right...best shot I could get.

This is my favorite question on here. To bad this doesn't come up enough to have it's own forum topic category. When I see a "What's this part?" question, it's the first one I open up. Oh by the way, I can't help you.
I replaced the OEM rod with a metric SS M8-1.25 bolt that was a bit longer than the OEM rod. Then I secured it with a Nylock nut. This made the connection a bit tighter and will eliminate the retainer that holds the OEM rod in place from coming off in use.......has happened to me twice.
