Default Are these rotors worn?

I'm going to inspect a '04 C5 Z06 on Saturday here in Germany. The car is supposed to have 13.000 mls. Since we don't have Carfax it can't be proofed in advance despite having the VIN. The break rotors seem to be a bit worn -what do you think?

You cant really tell visually........when they are cold run your finger along the rotor if you feel bumps and it's not really smooth I would say yes. How old are they, how many miles, how hard do you brake are you easy on the brakes or do you come flying up to a light and really use your brakes? If you feel shaking when you brake chances are good they are bad. They are not that expensive and pretty easy to do yourself if you have any question I would replace them do not have them cut down. Sorry for my rambling.

The true way to determine if a rotor is worn would include knowing the minimum required thickness of the front and rear rotors (should be located on back of the rotors) and using a micrometer or similar tool to determine if they are still within spec. I can't make the pictures large but from what I can tell they look fine but that doesn't they really are or aren't. I'm assuming you won't be able to take a wheel off and bust out a micrometer so you could try running your finger/nail along the rotor surface to the rotor edge and see if you detect a ridge. A ridge felt/seen would indicate that the rotors are worn down to some degree but really need to be measured to see if it's acceptable or not. I would assume that you wouldn't notice much of a ridge if the rotors have 13k miles on them unless the car was tracked or the brakes were used excessively during that time.
