Here is the scenario. No work has been done on either headlights, so I am perplexed by this one. Friday night when I got home, I turned my headlights off and the passenger side went down and the driver side stayed up. I then turned them back and the driver side went down the passenger side went up. I've tested a few more times ths weekend and had the same results except for one time, where the driver side went open and closed about 3 times and the stayed down. Ground problem or do I have a bigger issue? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
It may just be the OEM plastic gears. I had trouble with mine last month and replaced the plastic gears with brass gears and the problem ended. But in my case one headlight wouldn't pop up unless you turned the headlights off and on 6-7 times, so it may be a different headlight issue. Does it make a terrible grinding noise?

The issue I have is they are opposite of each other. Passenger opens and the driver stays down, then I turn off and then driver opens and passenger closes.
All due respect this is not a gear issue. The gears wouldn't make one headlight pop up and the other stay down when I turn then on and do the opposite when I turn them off. It's got to be a ground or electric issue. I was hoping someone else would have had a similar issue

It is, I repaired the IDENTiCAL problem, as you described, last month...
Ok. Still not logical to have an electrical motor ack in that manner. Especially when there are no grinding noises as stated from previous post.
Honestly, I have no idea what the issue is with your headlights. Mine had an issue with only 1 headlight popping up, but it also featured a horrendous grinding noise. If there is no grinding noise, it may or may not be the gear. What I can do is talk with the individual who repaired my headlight to see if he has heard of your issue or if he knows what it is.

I would definitely appreciate that sir. Thank you.

Try this: turn off your lights and open the hood. Manually crank the open headlight (driver's) until it closes and keep cranking it just until it begins to open again. Then stop and turn your lights on.
