Were to mount shift light in my 04 Z

Need ideas were to mount a shift light in my 04 Z and not destroy the dash ..

Was thinking about side pod on A-pillar .Thanks for your input..

It works great right there by A pillars gauges, you definitely want them out of your line of site, your peripheral will pick it up fine.

I designed a custom mount for my Raptor shift light so that I can pull it out and readjust the activation rpm, if needed.

Yes the HUD has shift light . I shift a 7000 the stock light is lower and coming into 90% turn at 100 MPH + trying to figure out am I going in too fast slamming the brakes trying to figure witch gear to come out of the turn in and some body right on my bumper all this happening right now and trying to light a smoke and tune the radio way no time to be looking at the HUD .. 525 Hp acts a little different than stock things be happening fast and my LS-6 does not start pulling till 4000 RPM.. Yes me just being a smart *** ,thanks for all the in put going with a A-pillar pod with a big LED light in it ..Thanks..

I truly wasn't being a smart *** either. I track my 500 hp C5. I use the HUD SHIFT light and the MPH readout to monitor apex speeds. I'm pretty sure you can change what RPM the SHIFT light illuminates in the tune.
