Seriously wanting to install LED headlights in my '02 black beauty 'vert. I've looked around for some kits and have some confusion. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You and me both. I'm thinking of going with the HIDs from Corvette Mods...maybe a substitute?

Hid only way to go. I developed dual hid two on dim four on bright. Be safe get hid lights. Mine work with stock pop up system and even the stock aiming is used. Here's a pic
HotRod03, Where did you get your H.I.D.s from and how much are we talking price range to do this swap? And is this a project that anybody could easily do in their garage at home with basic tools considering they are somewhat mechanically competent. ??

I buy the projectors online at Retro Fit Sourse. Great people to buy from. Wanted good quality at a reasonable price. Then I modify oem shell and the actuator arms. Thus all the aiming adjustments remain stock. It would not be an easy job to do yourself. That's hard question to answer, given the instructions. Sent message.
I haven't seen any aftermarket headlight LEDs that have anywhere close to the light output (lumens) of HID lamps. But if someone has found some, please post up ;^)

Simply put don't waist your money. Hid only way to be happy
I have LED low beams and regular high beams. The only drawback I've found so far is that sometimes the ballasts go bad and need to be replaced. Otherwise I can see better with LEDs than I could with HIDs. YMMV
