I looked at a '04 Z06 that is offered by a dealer. The car was also on a pit so that I could have a look from below. I didn't find any damage but on the pictures I took I discovered an area - albeit small - where I'm not so sure anymore: the passage from the two rocker panels in front of the rear wheel. On both sides the paint is scratched off the edge and somehow the mounting pattern on left side looks different from the right. Now I have got two questions:
Does the panel gets water-soaked over time where the paint is missing when driving in rainy weather - hence requiring a fix?
Is this mounting pattern on the lower picture (left side of the Z06) normal or does this look like a fix of a former crack/problem? It even looks as if there is small crack there.

No it won't keep spreading other than its in the direct line of fire for stones off the front wheels. Water isn't a big issue.
It looks about like mine, and I don't give it a thought. In fact that one is better. Mine has the tab half broken off of the fender so I have to be real careful when attaching it again with the screws from underneath. (I had mine open a number of times recently for PCM/TAC work).
