You need to buy a set of bespoke tracks to fit them...

Awesome, Dont take this the wrong way but the install looks less the perfect IMO. Is there a way to make the leather fit tighter (less wrinkly) like the original ?

I like the idea, but would never buy with all those wrinkles.

Looks great! Was it a super tight fit getting the seats in? I'm asking because I want to install the reclinable Evolution seats in my C5, but I haven't seen anyone else put in the reclinables. These seats look so nice, just need the reclinibility for the wife 😅

The Evolution seats are reclinable and look exactly the same as the Evolution X. I can't find an installation video or write up for the C5, however, they seem to be the exact same size as the non reclinable Evo Xs. Guess I won't know for sure until I buy them. 🤷

Evolution X non reclinable

Evolution reclinable

Its not the seat itself friend. Its the reclining mechanism and handle that adds to its width....unless you cut the plastic and usually swap to C6 belts then you just install them in reverse. There are plenty of thread on here about seats.

Sorry to bump this old thread but I have a question. How does the C5 handle airbags on this? I bought my Evo X for the drivers side along with the custom seat bracket and the airbag pigtail stays unplugged for the install. There is no light up on the console when you start the car so is the airbag still on and active with these seats installed? I believe I read you have to buy some adapters to get the light to stay off on the C6 when doing this mod.....

Thanks,

Charles

@Outlawtorn So, after 4 years, how do you like them? Which seat tracks did you use?

I loved them...Used the optional seat rails that come with them if I recall. Only thing I noticed is that my back tended to get a little sweaty on a hot summers day sitting in them compared to the factory sport seats. As far as durability they looked brand new and they were very comfortable seating position wise. Have since sold the car :-(
