Default FrostBite 3.0 build thread.

We'll winter craziness has begun and I have the Vette all torn appart. Figured id start a build thread to track my progress.

Projects already or about to be in progress:

Interior
-Going from a firethorn interior to an all black interior with custom touches
-Installing aftermarket seats (still making my selection)
-modifying and shortening my factory auto shifter to accept a c6 style manual ****
-Swapping steering shafts to accept a newer style c6 Steering wheel
-Modern double din radio setup

Performance
-A&A Vortech V3 kit install
-Upgrading the fuel system
-Kb Boost A Pump
-60lbs injectors
-Ported Throttle Body
-Built 4l60e and stall (more built that current crappy build)

and if the budget allows will be going to a wide rear fender and possibly a carvaggio wing and export tails

Feel free to follow along. Ill have pics of the interior build posted tonight as its well under way.

heres a few pics of what I have going on so far...

Shifter installed (still waiting on boot, shifter is back off to be cleaned and rethreaded now)

New Radio Installed, its a JVC unit I had in another vehicle. It has all sorts of features including bluetooth audio and a call connection. I ran a microphone up through the a pillars and into the top of the car where it will pick up for hands free calling.

Currently working on swaping steering shafts to accept this c6 wheel. Getting there but its been a process. (broke a bolt off in the column tilt pin and having an ordeal getting it out.)

then Ofcourse, my true love... my one and only.

Should be wraping up the wheel project and installing the redline good boots here in the next few days. Also redoing my LEDs in my HVAC panel while i have everything out. Should have some progress pics in a day or two!

Quite the ambitious undertaking - that's a lot of projects but some very ones. Good luck as you move forward. Will be watching for updates.

did a little test fitting and made some progress tonight... shift boot installed and plugging away at the column steering shaft swap. Should be putting things on the dash back together tomorrow with any luck. Last pic is the badge were having made up for the steering wheel emblem. Wanted to do something custom and one off.

A few updates, the Shift **** setup is complete. Got the new LED setup done on the hvac. The blower install is well under way. Mounted the trans cooler, getting the intercooler and radiator setup figured out. Lots of progress underway, Heres a few pics!

Did you swap the bulbs to LEDs in the HVAC yourself or did you have someone else do it? Curious to see if neo wedge LEDs were used.

Well some big updates on the build... we started the blower build a month or two ago and things have progressed along pretty nicely... Also came into a killer deal on a set of euro-spec tails. Ill let the pics speak for themselves... hopefully about 2 weeks away from firing this thing up!

Neo wedges won't fit the Hvac, you need directly soldered LED's.
