I like the idea of the body color for the calipers.
Your anniversary red has just a bit more blue tint in the paint than my mag red.

I am going to paint mine body color, and do the letters in light oak, same as the top.
For you, body color, and do the letters in shale to match the interior color.

By the way, great shot of your car.

It's a good thing you don't live in Los Angeles.
In this city, parking on the grass, in your own yard is not allowed .
If it were cement, or asphalt, that would be a permitted parking spot, but grass is considered "greenery", and not a parking spot.

I learned this years ago when I resealed my driveway, and parked my car on the front lawn, off the driveway.

The next day, when I went to move it, there was a ticket on the windshield.
It read "illegal parking"
I fought the ticket, and won, but I would guess many in this city never even heard of this stupid law.
It sure was a surprise to me.

Any way, nice shot of the car, and go with the body color.

Bob.

Parking in my yard is not something I do very often, but I live on 3 acres in the country. This is the Ozarks where you are likely to find more than one junk car in the back yard. Ha, ha. Thanks for the advice and your ride is looking good. Be blessed

You mentioned junk cars being parked all over the place.
This is exactly why the law was passed here.
To many junk cars being parked in yards.

I'll jump on this and ask the same questions. I've got a 2013 Night Race Blue which looks damn near black most of the time unless the sun is hitting it just right. I think the color match would be too dark and would not standout enough to make it worth the hassle. I currently have aluminum painted wheels that need some attention but plan to change them out for Chrome as I think it will look better against the dark blue body so I'm thinking a brighter blue for the calipers. Thoughts and suggestions welcome?

A agree with body color.

My car is black and I painted my calipers and frames red. The Red is a bit much with the thin spoke wheels IMO.

Bright red with your body color would look off to me.

It depends on the color of the car and if you are going for bold or understated, either can be a good choice and of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Black or body color. Paint the hangers too. Do the rotor hats with black satin VHT engine enamel. You can tape the exposed rotor surface with masking tape. After that, use a razor blade to cut the circle and remove the excess to reveal the paint surface. Use brake parts cleaner on a rag to wipe the surfaces to remove all oil and spray the rotor hats. looks amazing. Do it right, or do it twice.
